How do I know if I’m eligible for a Reward?

In order to be eligible for the reward you must have purchased a qualifying product from either a John Lewis branch or during the promotional period. Qualifying products can be found in the Terms and Conditions.


What information do I need to claim my Reward?

You will need your sales receipt from your in-store purchase or your invoice from Follow the instructions on the claim page to see which details you will need to enter from your sales receipt/invoice. You will also need a valid email address, your details and your home address.


Why do I need an email address to participate?

We are using e-gift cards to fulfil this promotion, so we need an email address in order for you to receive your reward.


How do I claim my Reward?

Visit and enter your details to make a claim. You can claim from 40 days after your purchase date, and no later than 28th October 2019.


When will I receive my gift card?

You can claim your gift card via 40 days after your purchase. The e-gift card will then be emailed to you within three working days.


Can my reward be sent to a different address?

No, it can only be sent to the email address or postal address that you register with.


If I don’t receive my reward or it doesn’t work, who do I contact?

How long do I have to spend the reward funds?

Funds are available to spend up to the expiry date stated on the email that you receive. If you are receiving a physical gift card, this will have a 12-month validity period.


What happens if I don't spend the funds before it expires?

Once your reward expires, any remaining funds will no longer be available.


Where can I spend the voucher on my Reward?

You can spend the voucher at any John Lewis branch, and at Waitrose.





Is there anything not included in the promotion?

Third party services such as Added Care, Kuoni, Beauty Bar, Catering outlets are not included in the promotion. Neither are Electricals products under £1000 or those that don’t have promotional ticketing. Full list of included Electricals products can be found here.


How does this promotion run in conjunction with your Never Knowingly Undersold policy around honouring Price Match requests?

You can successfully submit Price Match requests on your products after the purchase, and we will still honour your gift card claim.


What if I return the product, and the original transaction value for Home/Fashion is now under £1000, can I still claim a gift card?

No, this is why you have to wait 40 days before claiming your gift card. So we can ensure you haven’t refunded any of the products and the purchase still qualifies for a gift card.


Can I get more than one gift card?

There are two promotions running, one in Home and Fashion, another in Electricals. If you participate in both offers, you can claim one gift card per offer, per customer

What’s included in Home & Fashion promotion?

ALL products across our Home department and ALL products across our Fashion department including Womenswear, Menswear, Toys, Luggage, Sports and Beauty.


What if my basket has a mix of Home, Fashion and Electricals?

There are two promotions running, one in Home and Fashion, another in Electricals. You can only receive one gift card per transaction. The basket must have £1000+ Home and/or Fashion product(s) to qualify, or an Electricals item that’s included in the promotion. If there is both, we recommend the Electricals item is processed in a separate transaction.


What if the transaction is a deposit under £1000, for a qualifying Home/Fashion purchase above £1000?

You are still eligible to claim your gift card 40 days after paying the deposit.


Calls to 03 numbers are charged at the same standard rate as 01 and 02 landline numbers, even when calling from a mobile.
